True Chaos: the egg dyeing experience

Daughter Jen braved the egg dye kits and set up an Easter egg dyeing activity for Zoe, Charley and their New Orleans cousins, Lilah, Hampton, and John Henry. The five of them range from seven and a half to four, so a kinda wild group.
Zoe and Lilah are "helping" dissolve the dyes.
I'm not sure what is happening here, but I'm thinking Lilah is telling John Henry not to touch the wet eggs.
Somehow Charley thought a black cowboy hat would be proper attire for getting the perfect purple egg.

It worked!!
Who knew you could glitter and tie dye eggs? These are drying and waiting for more embellishment with stickers and decals. I didn't stick around for that.

  1. Cute!! Is that a wine bottle in the first photo? It could be the vinegar, but I prefer to think that it's wine. ;-)

  3. I believe you are right. Notice also, the unfinished fruit loops. An unedited photo shoot for sure. I know Jen is proud.

  4. I noticed the wine bottle too, maybe that means something, Meredith!!! LOL! Happy Easter!
